Keith Plumley is the son of Master Carver Keith Plumley (1955-2022), a renowned wood turner who moved to Clayoquot Sound from Ontario in 1990. Keith collaborated with his father on projects, including Keith's sculpture, 'Alien Root Explosion'. The submerged Yellow Cedar root was brought in from the Tofino Inlet, dried and sanded. Keith Plumley created the Red Cedar base to which it is attached.
