After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts from the Ontario College of Art & Design Lara Palmer has been one of Canada’s top Art Directors in the Ad & Design industry for the past 35 years. Her work for global, national and regional brands in Canada and the U.S. has received hundreds of the most prestigious National and International awards such as Cannes Gold Lions, One Show Pencils, Communication Arts, Archive Magazine and the Advertising & Design Club of Canada. Lara's an industry leader representing Canada at the Cannes Lions as Design judge and as a guest teacher at the Ontario College of Art & Design, The Miami Ad School and The Young Guns in Sydney Australia. Working with a-list agencies and talent Lara has learned how to create conceptually driven attention-grabbing visuals and copy that resulted in successful campaigns. Now she's creating conceptual art inspired by living amidst the majestic nature of Tofino, B.C. for the past 15 years. Lara’s art brings a fresh perspective that allows the viewer to experience the beauty and awe of nature in an unexpected way. It’s in these unexpected moments where our imagination is stimulated to think differently inspiring us to apply our thoughts and associations in new ways.
