'Oceanside' was born out of contemplation by the Salish Sea and the lessons that the Ocean has taught me about my life. The painting is a reflection of emotions, turbulence and peace, much like a life lived; the notion of being messy or stormy before the calm. Our lives are like rolling tides—always moving and flowing in new directions.
